The Port of Seattle Civil Service Commission is a three person body that hears appeals from employee disciplinary actions such as removal, suspension, or demotion of civil service employees. The Commission has the authority to uphold, affirm, reverse, or modify the employment action.
The Port of Seattle Civil Service Commission, under the authority granted by Chapter 41.12 RCW and Port Resolution 3423, has assigned all duties of the Civil Service Commission to the Human Resource Talent Acquisition Manager who serves as Civil Service Secretary.

Civil Service Commission Meetings
Civil Service Commission meetings are held quarterly (Jan, April, July, Oct.) on the will be held as business necessitates on the first Tuesday of the month at the Conference Center at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Boulevard (Pacific Highway S), Seattle, Washington 98158, conference room to be determined.
